Corrections & Updates
Accurate source attribution matters. If an article misstates information from a primary source, omits important context, uses an unrelated image, repeats another article or links to the wrong report, we want to know.
How to report a concern
Visit our Contact page to find our currently available feedback channels. When reporting a concern, include the article link, the specific issue and, where possible, a reliable source establishing the correction.
How corrections should appear
Substantive corrections should be reflected in the article itself, with a dated note explaining the change. Minor spelling or formatting edits need not carry a separate note. When an article is duplicated or lacks usable reporting, it may be consolidated or withdrawn; when an image is misleading or insufficiently licensed, it may be removed.
The World Dispatch is an automated source-linked publication, so this policy describes the intended handling of errors rather than a guarantee that every item has been independently fact-checked before publication.
